OK forget the Radsail 1.45 & Nephew bit!

Can anyone tell me by putting any two kites in tandem does it.......

  • Produce much more power?
  • Twice as much or less? I guess less.

If so

  • Will the extra power be more lift than Traction or is about equal?

 What does "Bump" mean as I keep seeing threads full of them?

it will produce some more power but not double the power

bump is just what people say if they want to bump a thread up to the top of the forum you will see it used by people selling gear

If your looking to stack kites - for best results use the flexifooil power kites (Stack 6, Pro Team 8, Super 10) as these are designed specially to be stackable. I don't think it is possible to stack four line kites without compromising the brake lines.

So as I thought it would not double the traction or pull as one kite would shield the other I guess.

But with Lift would the power be more significant as both kite would have 100% funrestricted access to wind at the zenith? So double the lift?

you can stack the rad 1.45 i have seen it done and had a fly of a small stack. 2 of them together was the equilivent of a 2m HQ rush in pull and power, so not that much but the stack i flew had 4 on it, fun with enough pull to keep me entertained for a while but hardly any lift and i carnt imagian them having any float (15mph and it failed to lift me even an inch but perhaps my flying style was wrong for stacks)

the rad 1.45 was built with the ability to stack in mind and you can get the kit to do it from a few shops of get in touck with eolo through their web site they will be happy to point you in the right direction.
