Chris L and I got lufted one after the other on the same gust of wind:eek:  which was quit funny, but could have been a bit more seriouse if the gust lasted any more than a second.

When are you coming over Schmool, I don't think we've met, have we? I might pop over tomorrow (sat) if the wind dies down slightly.

Burger,

I think we've met once at Bidford. I think you were with a couple of mates with buggies. You can tell me 'cause I tend to fly well over powered on Peter Lynn Guerilla II's. I think I was flying a Red 11m when we met.

Might be down tomorrow afternoon.

Hi all!

Went over to the playing fields in Redditch today (behind the Golden Goose pub), very strong winds and very gusty, but very fun. Until a football match started anyway (god i hate football, what a boring game:mad: ).

The site isn't too bad really if the winds nice and strong, though I suppose it would be better if I had an arc, to absorb those gusts :).

hey schmool, you fly a 13m Guerilla don't you? how do you find it in terms of lift and handling in gusty conditions, like at Bidford?

Dude,

Yep mine is a 13 G2 and I now have a 15 G2 aswell. They're absolutely great at coping with the inland gusts and they're f****n great when you go to the beach. The pull is awsome and really controlable.

I'll drop you a pm with my mobile on, give me a bell this weekend if you go out and you can have a play :)

Oops, dropped a cobler there, It's not a 13m, It's a 11m. I remembered on the way home cause I have a 8m V1, 11mG2 and 15mG2. I think that should cover all winds! ;)

Another point, anyone fancy a Flexdeck? Open to offers!

I'm not getting an ARC.....well not just yet. Think I will wait until I'm the only foil flyer in the uk and then might think about it. I like the Frenzy..only just getting to understand how sweeet they are. Top kite:D :D

sorry mate i did get your pm, I've just been too busy at work to reply; I just click on the forum for a few seconds an then back to work:( . The board is a right bargain, but at the moment I'm skint. My car got broken into again last weekend and enough is enough, I need to move out of my area!!!. So me and the misses are trying to sort a decent mortgage so that we can buy a house in a respectable area. Hense no buying for now:(

cheers anyway though :)

Had a phone call from Harris Brushes this week, unfortunately the answer wasn't what I wanted. They denied us permission to use it as a kiting field due the insurance policy they have. It's only insured for football and they don't want to take the risk of having any uninsured kiters using it.

Oh well, never mind, the hunt still goes on. :(

Dude,

I hope nothing of importance was nicked....where abouts in Redditch do you live? sounds a bit dodgy :(

they nicked the speakers and parcel shelf. I'm not too bothered though, as the speakers were £8 off ebay and crackled :D and the parcel shelf I managed to salvage from my local scrappy for free. I live in Winyates East which isn't too bad as an area, but ocasionally you get the odd druggy coming down from Winyates centre to steal all he or she can get their hands on.

The police are sh!t they don't want to know, if it's car crime. Hopefully, all going well, we'll be getting a house in Winyates Green (theres no council scum around there, it's all privately owened:)) Our flat will be in the Standard this Friday in the Nigel Poole section. It's up for £95,000 and is on Ibstock close. So keep a look out!!!!
