I've changed my nick from 'ctr' to 'crut' due to people moaning that you can't pronounce 'ctr'. I have gone with 'crut' because that is what phannie dave called me :)

Harness.

So could someone highlight the difference, to my n00b eyes, between:

And

I want one for boarding and buggying, but mainly boarding. The advice I have received so far is that I should get one that both doubles as a seat harness and a waste harness, and the maui magics seem to be the brand that everyone here prefers.

I'm also curious as to the difference between 60cm or 70cm bars. What do people think?

right...

I'v got the first harness and sariah has the second one. both good except mine the warrior has alot my support for your lower back. nice harness...and so it should be for 100 notes!

bars....

depends how big your kite is...

ie... 70 cm for grande size

55-60 for kiddi kites

i use a big old 80cm for the 10.5....

you'l have more 'turn' with a bigger bar as you are effectivly pulling more line the opposite direction hence good for grande kites (10.5 blade III, 9 blade II) that need a right good arms length to get turning. where as 4.5 bullet only needs a slight pull in one direction

@madge: cheers mate, much appreciated information. I plan on getting a harness and bar soon, and a Blade IV 4.9m in the next few months or so.

@all: I got bored today, this is the result: http://images.darkrock.co.uk/Videos/kite-videos/lhf/LHF.mov

Hope you enjoy :D

Nice shots of Wallop. Was the shakey bit where you dropped the vid cam LOL.

Remember the bigger the bar the better the turn but when in a buggy you don't have as much room as when stood on a board.

Yeah it was, I thought it was quite cool. It was the first time Dave turned the buggy and it threw me :)

 Hi guys

To All our LHF's stuck in reactivation limbo

heres how to do it.

your activation email link looks like this

http://www.flexifoilforums.com/register.php?a=act&u=xxxxxxx=xxxxxxxx

you need to change it(obviuosly where there xxxx's are is your unique identifiers just cut and paste the first bit.)and replace

http://www.flexifoilforums.com with community.flexifoil.com

easy just replace the first part of the address.(yes take out the www. bit)

or go to

http://community.flexifoil.com/register.php?a=ver

and put in your details manually

see you soon
