Hi there Mickeyd. Hudson's Field is still the opnly decent place up Salisbury way. Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings are usually no good as there is rugby/football going on. Outside this, then okay to use (with insurance, as always!). Gates are locked until Easter, so you have to park in car park just to the South of Hudsons. Very wet at present, so not been out myself for ages.

Best wind direction is South West and anything 90 degrees either way is okay, otherwise don't bother. Maybe see you in the summer.

Hey, where is everybody? I think it's time to dust off the kites and buggies. If it's dry Friday am, anybody fancy a fly? Anybody know if the gates will be open good Friday?

What are "kites and buggies?":D What do you mean by "a fly?"

Gates are open all the time now. Posts are still up though.

Will have to consult my timetable regarding tomorrow am. There could be rain.

Consult the timetable?? Is that the one instructing you to get up, have a wash, do the hoovering, ironing, cooking etc?

Morning morning. So I have my foil and have seen a couple of kites up at Hudsons field - do people go up whenever the wind is up? Just trying to work out how to fly my flow without killing myself :)

Hi gents, does flying in Hudson field require any permissions or insurance. Going on a road trip with a mate tomorrow and we are planning to stop by in different places for some landboarding. Sadly my insurrance has not come through on time so wanted to make sure I wont be kicked out from a spot.

Good practice to have some as it is a public field. However I have never known anyone to police it. I don't believe there is a club running which has any agreement with the council so you should not fall foul there either.

Must make a re-appearance up at Hudsons myself sometime. Big Daddy have you dusted off the buggy yet this year? Or anyone else for that matter?

Not been down Hudson's for about 2 years with the buggy. No mates left to go with:(

Is anybody around for a fly on Friday this week?

Missed it, but still time before the end of the year. Just have to get the covers off the buggy/kites:)

I think it might have to be next weekend, or maybe next Friday? As this weekend we're in Hoylake ;-)
