Sounds like you guys had a great time. I was dragged around London all weekend looking at rings. I really can't understand the bird's fascination

with them myself.

Bird says;

Oh rich that one looks really nice,

Oh rich this one looks so good on me.

Rich says;

Oh **** off its windy I wanna go play. (if only she knew!! ;) )

Anyone going to be free during the afternoons this week? My shifts mean that I should be able to get some flying in this week when I am off work. Hopefully the weather will hold out and can actually get some decent time in.

Also while I am o the topic, have any of you flown at Abersoch in North Wales? I am off up there for a Wake boarding/Music Festival type event the end of the month and wondering what the beech is like that way? Looks good from the google earth photos.

All the salisbury show stuff has aready gone from hudsons so will definately be up for some after work sessions this week if the conditions look good.

This evening would have been a good option but left it too late now with all the other stuff I have had to get done.

I finish work at 1pm all week so I will either be up around 2pm till around 5pm or aim for 6ish after I have had some grub. Will post before I set off either way.

True tides aren't great, we were thinking of going down on Friday, low is about 15:30 so should get a good afternoon / evening session, then Saturday low is about 16.30ish. Probably just stay for Friday night then head back late Saturday. Braddicks do some camping, not sure how much it is. Will pobably head up to the sw mountain board centre when the tide is in as it's the UK championnships that weekend so could be worth having a look.

See what the wind says this time next week...........

Been down the field for a couple of hours this evening....nice:D

Seems to be a bit bumpy though after the show and the rain. I think you boarders better give it a miss...we don't want you coming off and breaking any bits;):D.

No pub this evening? Just have to carry on with the Baileys then:rolleyes:.

Rain tomoz, so no buggying then Mikey!!!

Bit quiet around.....rain is a pain:mad::mad:

Good few hours out on Saturday afternoon. Good to see all the buggiers down there. No boarders to get in the way;).

Looks like the only place without rain is Eastbourne! Hope you are having/had a good time.

I might only have to do a day trip somewhere next Saturday. Something has come up on the Friday night.....:(

We popped down an hour ago but there's nowt (except rain!) - early week forecast looks set for 'thundery and torrential rain' across much of the UK, and particularly the south east! Hope Steve and Sarah aren't still there tonight - could be interesting....

Not sure if next weekends been decided on the the Ho! or the Gower - I assume tides for both will be pretty similar. What tide sources do everyone use?

Still buzzing from my first proper ride on the water yesterday, at least a couple of hundred meters in one go! - bring on next weekend...

You can sort out directions to and from where you are to there if you wish on google. You may also be able to park within the field boundary for your car, depending if the gate is open or not.

Went to Hudsons on saturday for a bit, just me and Mike up there for a while and then it was just Mike.

Got lofted by a freak gust, Mike only saw me coming down but i landed pretty heavy and busted in my ankle :mad:.

So all my kitesurf gear turned up this week of course, not that i can use it:(.

Not looking too windy this weekend either, who's turn it is to have the barbecue? ;)
