TallPaul Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Was having a look around a few sites and stumbled onto this http://i3.ebayimg.com/03/i/03/e0/d9/0d_12_sb.JPG RS Kite buggy. Can't find a homepage for them but this sold for 211Euro on Ebay Germany. Looks remarkably like another well known brand with the exception of the axle/sideframe connections. More pics on here... http://cgi.ebay.de/Kitebuggy-Super-Profi-Allround-RS-Kite-Buggy-Neuware_W0QQitemZ8761532967QQcategoryZ37451QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Looks well priced... Quote

adam_h Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 They where selling a bigfoot version aswell with a swan neck. Quote
Maverick440 Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 For the money they are the fantastic, I paid £189 for mine brand new including the shipping to the UK, and belive it or not it only took three days. Ball raced down tube in 40mm square section mild steel, 20mm bearings in all three wheels, 1.5meter wide rear axle Delli 16" wide tyres all round, electro plated and then powder coated for less than the wheels cost in the UK.. Verry happy with mine, as a comparason, its a cross between a Libre V-max and a Special. Ive modded mine with a swan neck and a back rest and its very very comfy.... If you check hes feed back on e-bay, its exelent hes very helpfull if you ask questions and for the cash you wont find a better buggy. Quote

Maverick440 Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Hi Steve, Yep the V-flex has had a re-fit with eight coats of orange two pack so its now super shiny alonf with Jon and Helen at Buggybags making a custom orange bag, siderail covers and roll bar covers for it. They have done a great job on the bag and covers and acording to Jon, he spent over four hours just doing the roll bar covers as they are "fitted" to give minimal creases............. Jon is currently working on an Orange roll bar bag and sidrail covers for the RS, once they arrive im going to treat it to some nice orange two pack as well Ill the have a big and a small orange buggy ( a jafa and a satsuma........LOL) Quote
Maverick440 Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 @ blade 3, the railer is great, ibe had three buggys on it .............. Saves all this lifting on an off bike racks malarke, and as for stripping them down to go in the boot...you must be joking............. Now, what can i make next............ Quote

Cheer PaulPick a £175 (half price)trailer up from Halfords, to buy all the trailer parts seperatly costs about the same, so you might as well get the box part for free, put the box part to one side, although I have adapted mine to be bolted to the chassis if needed, then basically make up two T shaped sections from angle or box section and join together with posts....simple really I made the T shaped pieces 1700 wide and 1900 long.....I should have made it a little wider, but then it would be wider than my car, so its probably safer. I also used a longer piece of 50 by 50 box to attach the towing hitch, the one that comes with the trailer isn't long enough. Hopefully I will be at Wallop so hope to meet you Quote
