sluggo Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 No but south north . Only From Brisbane to Proserpine but it only cost $25 with Australia Post. Other couriers wanted $150 and up . EvenQueensland rail wanted over $100 Quote
Jason Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 Hi Squid, Aus post won't do them. Courier would be around $100 - $150 I suspect a freight company might be cheaper Quote

sluggo Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 About the same distance from Perth to Exmouth. Mate go to your local Aust post and give them a guesstimate of weight and size and they should give a rough quote . Quote

koma Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 I'd highly recommend trying to find a 'Pack & Send' office over in your region. http://www.packsend.com.au/packandsend_locator.php I've sent kite gear with them in the past and it's cost me... Kite, harness & massive 170cm board = $75 Kite alone = $30 They're very flexible so as long as you can dismantle it and partially wrap it in bubble wrap or package it in cardboard then they'll take it. I've also shipped some weird stuff (like artworks/sculpture) all over the country and they've done it at a very reasonable price! Quote
