Skyscraper Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Looks like the Olympics are coming. What about an organised campaign to get power kite sports recognised??? (tongue planted formly in cheek but I'm bored and fancied restarting an old argument) Quote
king.module Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 better still why not have our own kite olympics? pendine kiteOlympics 2012 - ok!!! i know it's a bit short notice for camarthen council but with a bit of luck we might get something sorted...... or not! Quote
KiteEatingTree Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 One of the better ideas seeing as we're lumbered with it.. 7 years of nice tax to pay for it all, Gordon will have to widen the door to get the dosh in and Tony won't mind if it turns into a F*&^ up.. He's got his nice pension & will be long gone anyway KET (nobody asked me anyway, so iss not my fault :p ) Quote
king_of_the_sky Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 well im sure i heard somewhere that if paris had won they were going to have bugging as a demo sport........ Quote
Jabberwock Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 7 years time? CHripes if I practise real hard now - I might make the team ! Hmmmmmm ok Maybe not Quote

rayens Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 you could have line untangling races - it would be so exciting Quote
daft mick Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 With all of these people coming, some might actually enjoy what they do. If that is the case, then the sports should be banned from happening. Why should people enjoy their own sports when we get criminalised for enjoying our environmentally friendly hobby? Sorry, rant over. Got a point though..... Mick Quote
