kiteship Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 so what ocean is he crossing?? dont know how he'll cope with the waves?? Dom will be using OutLeader kites by KiteShip (http://www.kiteship.com). OutLeader kites are specifically designed to be launched and recovered from the boat, in deep water, unaided. The kite does not get wet, and the lines do not run under the boat when your mind is elsewhere. Dom is an ex-Royal Marine, has rowed across several oceans; is both well versed and well trained for the conditions he'll encounter. Cheers, Dave Culp KiteShip Quote
