captain_wasp Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 I have a kheo landboard in a scrub bag and i've just moved house. My board used to fit snuggly in the pantry but now i have the choice of a slightly damp cellar or a secure shed outside. Which one of these two places is going to be the best to store my board OR will the scrub bag provide enough protection against the damp of the cellar or cold of the shed? help! Quote
Kitedeck Kid Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Should be fine in both places. The Shed should be fine unless u live at the north poll. only real risk is scallies breaking into it and the Slightly damp cellar shouldn't b a problem if its in ur bag (not floating across the cellar) and used reguraly. MaD_BaRoN_HahA Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 u could always get one of those brackets for surboards and hang it on ur wall (not in the bag of course) Quote
impex2 Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 i wrap my board in a snuggly feather eiderdown and put it by a radiator in its own ikkle room so it doesn't get cold and i always leave a nightlight on in case it gets scared Quote
king.module Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 i hang my boards up in a dampish cellar - just put two coat pegs (the right distance apart) on the wall and hook the axels over the pegs - jobs a good un - i used to leave one of them in it's bag but the bag started to go a bit mouldy due to the moisture in the air.... the bag now lives elsewhere!
