I have had a first fly of my new flexifoil Sabre 11.5 today. Its a great kite I was amazed buy the amount of depower it had. I was able to set up the kite with out looking at the instructions because I left them at home but got it flying first time. It is very easy to set up and fly. It dose take one or two tugs to inflate the kite before take off. I had a good fly for about 45min and then adjusted the adjustable centre line. I took it into the air again and wow the power was a lot more intense and the kite just powered its way thou the turns. I only adjusted the centre line buy about a quarter. I have never flown a depower kite before today so I was on ege on how it was going to fly. Over all I am over the moon with it and look foward to the summer.

HI,

I actually have a guerilla 13 and i wish to purchase a sabre. I have two question, wich one do i have to buy? i dont want to overlap the size with my guerilla II 13 wind range.

also, how much cost this kite??

I wish to use it before the guerilla as the guerilla is better in medium/strong wind...

Maybe a frenzy is better, and wich size as well???

Thanks a lot

cheers...

Why is the Guerilla better in medium/strong wind. Have you flown the sabre yet, how can you compare. Look up the price of the kite on the net mr lazy. why is the frenzy better, i think you need to decide on what your asking.

i'm not buying one til they release it in aqua, raspberry or yellow...

infact... if i manage to stumble upon loads of money sometime in the future i might see if i can get one custom coloured :D maybe even get it coloured like a 2m rasp BII or an 8.5m aqua BIII that would confuse people :D

dibz, from what i remember of a mate getting a custom blade, they don't charge a lot more for em...well, at the price your paying anyway.

but if they do offer custom sabres i don't know

Mr bladez,

I am not comparing anything so keep your agressive nature for yourself.

When i said that the guerilla are better for medium/strong wind, i meant that they dont work perfectly in lower wind and anything else, i was not comparing it with the sabre...

I was only looking to know if the sabre could be a good option for me as a low wind kite or if the frenzy is better as i have some experience with depowerable now.

So which depowerable kite can you advise me to buy as a low wind kite???

Cheers guys and thanks for the atmosphere in this forum!!!

these are not suggestions to buy, but are suggestions you should try.... if you know what i mean.:)

i suggest you should try to get a go on a 19m venom.

o.k. i havent tried one YET, but i have had almost a whole weekend of flying a 16m.

in lowish winds, the 16m venom was not too bad, so i reckon the 19m may be just what you are looking for.

i myself want to get my mitts on a 19m and give it a go in low winds. i want to see if will be worth swapping it for my current low wind kite, which is a 8.5m. blade.

there are also some big big flysurfer depowerables that you can get second hand at a reasonable price that might fit the bill too.

also the big sabre may be worth a go too.

TRY BEFORE YOU BUY.:)

cheers the windy.

the 7m sabre flys a lot like a 4.9 blade power wise(maybe a little more powerful)

and the 11.5 will de-power to just above that (with the cleet it will go below, but you lose control of the kite a little due to slack lines)

i assume you meant first timers? well, my friend went from 3.5 bullet to 9.5 sabre, cacked himself to start with, but after a few flys and gettign used to the kite, he loves it

MBN; finds sabres fast through the sky, giving them their power, rarther then pure grunty lift

Deffo blue for me, got the 9.5m & 11.5m, will get the 7m when the winter winds kick in, aint flown em too much just yet as I always seem to go for my blades whilst trying new tricks, but every time I have flown the Sabre's I enjoy every min of the experience, the blue or midnight colour is my fav & when I have all three they will all be midnight, bright white clouds behind them do make them look a nice bright blue tho;)
