tomkite Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 i kite(land)board regularly and am looking to get on to the water. Obviously it makes sense to get qualified tuition but i'm having problems geting a course because i'm 15yrs. I think its because of insuance reasons. Does any1 know of anywhere that will take me?? npeac Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 not certain on this but surely all you need to do is take a parent or responsible adult with you to sign your life away. also have you explained you already have kite and board skills to them. Quote
tomkite Posted November 6, 2004 Author Report Posted November 6, 2004 well i've got a Pk1&2 certificate for advanced powerkite flying and kitelandboarding which might help. But i think the person actually undergoing the course has to be 18 but i'll ring round. Quote

shemKSW Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Hi, If your under 18 you need a parent to be there when you attend the course. I keep courses running all year round 7 days a week, here at Aberdyfi. Good luck. Quote
tomkite Posted November 6, 2004 Author Report Posted November 6, 2004 i've been to aberdyfi, nice place. bit far to go though. extremekiteshop is 40min away from me so it seems better suited. Then again if i persuade the family........... Quote
