kitecrazyken Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 Currently landlocked in the midlands but might be moving down exeter way.The idea of living close enough to the sea to go kitesurfing after work sound great. Wondering if any locals could give me the lowdown, whats the kitesurfing like down that way? Have been to the 'duckpond' ,looks good but never seen anyone kitesurf there. Also anywhere to kite mountain board as well? Heard there's a kitesurfing club at exmouth. Any info welcome, Thanks. Quote
Rich Holloway Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 There are quite a few spots in and around exeter, and an abundance of spots for those with transport in the southwest area (westward ho!, saunton). Quote

carlos_climber Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 Kited onece at the duckpond and at the estuary mouth. Great - Duckpond really nice flat water..estuary mouth - you need to have insuarance and there is a code of conduct.... But will make a change from your hike to Hunny to get some wind Quote
