Uncle Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Hello, i dont think too many people go to the gogs that often, most of the guys in cambridge go to the coast on the weekend (i think) or you could try coldams or even midsummers comman. Alternatively you could come over to Royston Heath and if theres wind i can almost guarantee you that one of the Royston Powerkiters (see web site here) will be up there from around 2pm. if you want to know more change to our Thread entitled Royston Heath here in the meets thread and we'll post when were going out. Skydude Posted April 21, 2004 Report Posted April 21, 2004 Whats this Uncle, you trying to recruit new blood, I mean kiters into the fold LOL. Seriously though Uncles right in what he says, so you may want to pop down to Royston Heath. there'e a couple of maps in the odds & ends section of the photos bit... Quote

We go to the practice green/ driving range piece coz even though its a slope it's nice and smooth for the buggies and boards... See ya soon Quote
srod Posted April 22, 2004 Report Posted April 22, 2004 fiend666 - the gogs is great, but only if the wind is blowing North or West, then it's blowing up the hill and is really clean. South or East and it's blowing over the trees and down the hill and very gusty and no fun for flying kites! Butch1599968578 1 Quote
