Hang on a tick, PD190 from a Turbine Islander in Cyprus? Are you military by any chance? Sounds like Army kit to me ;)

By the way, if you're interested, there are a few skydiving pics from Nethers on my website link below... :)

No I'm not military, far from it..It's just that out there Max Alt cost about £6-£8 sterling and you get to do 4-5 jumps before the wind picks up at lunch time. I only did around 160 jumps, my next jump would have been my Cat 10 jump again. Probably did half my jumps in Cyprus on 3 holidays and the rest over about 3 years over here Mainly Peterborough but also at Cranfield, Pampisford and Dunkeswell...

Best jump was a 7way night jump in Cyprus (got 3 pins) before we started losing each other, Scarey as Sh1t deploying not knowing for sure where everyone is....

Money and Marriage stopped me, now I ain't got either LOL

I'l check your Website out later

i have had similar jumps to Tims

but the interesting thing is how he goes up and down and up and down.... dude that must have been some seriously gusty wind!!!

my largest was in a gust with a 6.4m blade2 but i went straight up and glided down... i didnt do the yo yo thing you were doing there...

what lines were you using btw?

well i have not done a jump as high as you all say but i got throwen 30ft just because my brother:mad: left go of the kite when i was getting ready to set up the buggy!!!

god dam i bet that was annoying! I'm always really paranoid that one of my mates might do that.

bludy hell, how high was it? we have two insane peeps here!

between 35 and 40ft, but it looked alot easier than Tims jump.. i.e i went up and came down slowly... i didn't get the Yo Yo.

i have sortof lost the urge to static jump now...i dont know why... guess im getting scared.

Hey Tone "partners in crime" me and you. Its a good rush though knowing that you are flying around 40 ft off the ground, pitty you have no video of it! I would have liked to see that. The breaking strain on the Blade lines is 550lbs (250) kg plenty strong enough for me.

Take care buddy and remember the camcoreder nxt time;-)

No way - £6 for max altitude! Sweet. Wish I had £6!!! ;) Never did do a night jump. Would be cool though. I'm a freeflyer through and through so it's head-down and sit for me rather than points. Do you freefly? If not...why not?!! I really really miss it. Wish I had some money. You mentioned Dunkeswell - haven't jumped there for years and years. I did my 50th jump there a few years ago when it still cost £15 for max. Now it's gone up to £19 or £20 for max! And that's only 10,000ft and it takes nearly 45 minutes to get there in a piston Cessna 206!

Ah well, kiting is cool so I'll keep myself occuppied with that instead. :)

Kiting is cool, 45mins in a Cessna in winter is freezing cold.

Went to Dunkeswell about 12-13 years ago for a weekend when some guy was supposed to be bringing a massive Russian Helicopter over, they didn't show though...

Worst jump was assisting on someone elses Cat 9 jump in Cyprus, I flew under the Instructor, he FELL about 3 foot onto my back and dislocated my right shoulder. I waved off, turned-ish, tracked-ish then screwed myself up in a ball so my dislocated arm could just reach my throwaway. Chuted deplowed fast as usual i rolled thru' the lines and both hands just landed on the toggles. Best bit was I was flying trying to get my Cat10 1 week later...not as strict as over here......

Sold my Rig a few years back but still got all the extras like the Pink Lycra jumpsuit. LOL
