Jonesing4Wind Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 I think nearly ev1 has this prob at first. The trick is to keep edging your front end upwind. when I do this, I notice the lines get tighter and it feels like I am going faster, but only up to a point. After that point, even tho the lines are still pulling like the dickens, I start to lose speed. It also helps if you are properly powered up. Too much, and you cannot make upwind progress no matter what you do, and not enough, and you cannot make progress at all..... not much help, but make sure you have enough power..... Good Lick... eerrrr LUCK!!!!! LOL!!!!!! sean Quote
nigmill Posted January 8, 2004 Report Posted January 8, 2004 lets start a not up wind buggy buggy club Quote
MLC Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Spent many a happy hour trapped in the downwind corner of a field. Just keep practising. You do get the hang of it in the end. I do agree with an earlier post though, upwind when over powered is difficult, when under powered, it's almost impossible. Happy buggying. Quote
