bad dad Posted November 27, 2003 Report Posted November 27, 2003 No you dont need to be a member. We are trying to keep it that way ,as we stand the council dont have a problem with us as we buggy well away from bussy areas and have a voluntary code of practice. We have been informed by the council that if we become a problem to other beach users that they may look to a club such as ours to run buggying on the beach as in pembrey. It's better for all if things stay as they are,all we ask is that people buggying at pendine conform to the voluntary code keeping the beach open for all. carlos Posted November 27, 2003 Report Posted November 27, 2003 No doubt the secretary will post either on the weekend or next week minutes of the meeting on the PWSC website... I would imagine all questions will be answered then... Hey Choccy...did you get those SKF bearings after??? Quote
goFlyaKite Posted November 27, 2003 Report Posted November 27, 2003 well, I mailed them to let them know I was going down there, BBC details and all. Asked if i needed to know any thing special, etc, etc, etc Never got a reply, been about 6 weeks But Elanor at the beach hotel has a soft spot for Carlos Quote
lardyb Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 the secretary (me) wasn't there last weekend as I had picked up one of thoseflu type bugs (and still have it). I'm so sick I'm thinking of changing my name to michael jackson;) On the membership business. 1 all memberships recieved so far will effectivly run for 12 months from the 1st of jan 2004. 2 the cards have been a pain in the ass as the company who are doing them are "artists" and "need the logo in the correct format". I PROMISE to send every member an email after the meeting this weekend with their membership number and a progress on how things are going. (this is going to cost me a fortune in appology beers) Quote
bad dad Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 burger boy. what times the meeting. Quote
Skud_Mark Posted November 28, 2003 Report Posted November 28, 2003 Ben, hope you're feeling better. If you need a hand converting the logo to the "correct" format for your printers drop me a line and I'll sort it for you. PM me or Steve & Carlos have my numbers... Quote
