Looks good, simply stating that it is CE approved doesn't mean anything (some CE approvals are ridiculous) and you should really find out what the sizes equate to in terms of cm round the head and measure yourself to make sure you get the right one. I think PKS would probably tell you that by e-mail but it would be good to have important info like that on the website (if they are reading).

I got a question. don't this style helmets limit your vision much? I got a rollerblade helmet that won't get in my way. but a helmet like this I guess makes it hard to see the kite and the road at the same time, you have to turn your head a lot.

ralphy,

bought one a month ago its made of fibreglass looks and smells that way at first .

fits my 61cm head as a xl but is a bit uncomfortable at first really could do with more padding inside .

like the ventilation and the holes for your ears to hear out of so having a conversation with your mates or some complaning goverment/council official is fine youll hear ever word and its not bad weight wise

i was going to get a motor bike helmet but lack of ventilation and weight put me off.

motorcross goggles fit a treat and dont slip

i certainley do feel safer wearing this as opposed to wearing a plastic skate lid.

for the money its just fine .

lucky for me i cant say how good it fairs in a wipeout

vision i can see perfect no blocked vision.

Hi thought they were made of ABS Plastic? (simular stuff to ProTec SK8 lids). Seems cheap for Fibreglass? Also all the Fibreglass/composit ones I have seen do not have the big vents in (to difficult to mold/risk of damage to edges).

Just thought I'd mention it as did not want peopel thinking they were getting better protection than they were?

Still a very good helmet and good price, so worth investing in one :)

spooky,

if you look under the padding or even the skip you can see the fibreglass and they sure smell like fibreglass and resin when new unless i have got a one off one.

abs plastic is smooth both sides check a skate helmet or any other abs helmet the plastic is smooth on both sides whereelse a fibre/composite one is smooth on the outside and the inside you can see the fibres/resin..

i too was amazed to see that mines are not plastic but fibreglass/composite construction..
