IMHO dont think its a good idea to put bigfoots on a flexi,

It flips easy enough with standards on even with the wide axle, Iv got turfs on mine which are havier than big foots n I can still two wheel it on a wide axle.

With the extra grip of big foots it would be to easy to flip over, the high seat position dosent help eaither, the seat would need to be moded to make it lower.

Well thats my opinion anyway most others will prob disagree lol

Like phil says, you really need the buggy balanced for bigfoots. If they supply them in a kit with the wide axle and a swan neck downtube you could consider my vote a yes, but I think most people will find it cheaper to buy a buggy designed for bigfoots rather than upgrade.

Which does not really include the PL bigfoot - it may have won races in it's first year and sparked the bigfoot revolution, but as a comp with bigfoots, it really isn't balanced and would get trounced now!

i dont see the point in flexi modding their exsisting buggy.

its a great freestlye buggy but pretty rubbish for much else (if you compare it to a libre, chamleon etc)

i say flexi should make a race buggy not keep producing weird ad-ons.

I agree just bolting a set of Bigfoots to a Flexi wouldn't work too well. The seat is too high and with the standard axle it would make it tippy at speed like the PL Bigfoot; fun for cruising and dune running though. The wide axle would help I guess.

Have finished doing a few mods to mine:

http://www.flexifoil.com/community/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=4274

which include big custom forks, swan neck, seat from the PL XR, backrest and wide axle. I currently have 16 x 6.5 turfs and the original barrows but would like something for beach use either 18 x 8.5 Kenda 401s allround or Bigfoot lights on the back and a 401 at the front (fork won't take a bigfoot), still not decided

I've been lucky that a mate made the swaneck and backrest for me out of stainless he already had, picked the forks up used from here (apparently expensive to make) and bought the buggy with wide axle. Its now a lot heavier, very stable and comfy and able to lower the seat to about 1-2" off the ground.

But if you were to have to pay for all the upgrades its probably not worth it and could just buy a Race buggy (Libre, Cameleon).

One advantage is I have nearly enough bits left over for a second standard buggy just need to buy a pair of siderails :D
