fly_boy Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Do any of you in MK know of a decent park where I can go for a lunchtime session, it must be close to Linford Wood so I can get maximum flying and less driving, any ideas... Quote
Guest hrv mad man Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 What you doing Fly Boy !! defecting to MK!! Only joking with you, the only places that i have tried in MK are at Campball Park , not that big but some big hills for when there is no wind great fun on the mountain board There is a big field up by Monston Park estate but it is a bit bumpy in places , worth a try , some times there are some horses tied up at one end of the field See you at the secret flying spot! Guest hrv mad man Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Sorry Al that should read MONKSTON PARK!! Quote
oc1rob Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 Try looking at http://www.mkkiteflyers.co.uk Site is in early stages of development and still a bit empty. But we have a section on Flying locations Quote
fly_boy Posted November 4, 2003 Author Report Posted November 4, 2003 Hi Pete, Not defecting, just annexing... I suppose a lunchtime fly is not on the cards for you.. Its amazing that with all the people marked as MK on this site it took someone from Northampton to reply . I'm trying to find additional flying time in order to break in that blade... Thanks Rob I'll take a look at that site is there normally a good crowd... In MK. Quote
oc1rob Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 ahhh but to be fair we have swapped a few PMs One was on holls, one in Japan on Business and the other one does not post too often. And those are the ones I know about! Quote
fly_boy Posted November 5, 2003 Author Report Posted November 5, 2003 Cheers Rob, I was only joking. When the fair buggers off I will try Campbell Park, but am I right in saying that I cannot use the board ???? Quote
oc1rob Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Officially no traction activities are allowed on any MK Parks Trust land, but I dont suppose there will be anybody there objecting during a lunch Hour over the winter. I say go for it and claim ignorance politely if somebody says anything Quote
