iancl1599968601 Posted September 21, 2003 Report Posted September 21, 2003 Havn't heard of them before. Where did you find out about them if you havn't seen them or seen a website? I've searched google and can't find anything, bluearth, blueearth, blue earth, blu earth with land board, landboard, mountainboard, mountain board and with plurals too. Is it a small company? Do you know if they're any good? Ian Quote

oi ya wel Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 there's a sports shop in plymouth inbetween the the roundabout with the fountain and post office and boots the chemist which sells them. I think they only had the one in stock and it was about £100. They said they could order a better model in but I can't remember how much more it cost. I don't really know what i'm looking for in a board and Im not sure if the board would make any difference to an abosolute newbi. Hope that helps you a bit, but has any one seen a reviews of the boards? Quote
JoeSchmoe Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 Look like they're mass produced in the same factory that makes scrub, ride the hill, flexifoil and exit boards. Quote
rasga Posted September 23, 2003 Report Posted September 23, 2003 When i was down at the ho! i saw all three blue earth baords in a surfy style shop, they didnt really look anything special, if you know what i mean? Quote
Smogthemog Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Forgetting the mass produced Scrubs, Exits etc, what is the next level up (in terms of quality) of boards ? Quote
weaponxrob Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 you'll be looking at a composit deck like mbs, trampa there are some more but i don't know of them yet. Quote
daft mick Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Have a look at the windseekers site. Link in my sig. They sell Bluearth boards. From what I've seen, they are ok, but skate trucks are not as sturdy as channel trucks. Should be ok if you don't want to do anything too radical. Mick Quote
Smogthemog Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 I Like the look of the Trampa board Rob, it looks very well finished off. I do think though that with my weight the lower quality board may suffer breakages quite easily. The look of the truck confuguration and build on some of them looks a little flimsy. Thanks for the info. Quote

Thanks for the info. no problem but think that you can fit mbs channel trucks on the trampa i know that they are working on a deck to take the channel trucks but the g-4s trucks are far from flimsy skate trucks are weaker but the flex in the deck take's most if not all stress (as you can tell i like the trampa) Quote
