The Blade is THE most stable, reliable kite I've ever flown.. and if I have hurt myself.. every single time was well worth the fun I get from them. http://www.softalk.co.uk/smileys/sick.gif

the reasing being flting the bladeII 4.9m a month ago got took by surprise by a 25mph gust, foot got stuck in a hole was pulled forwards face first dragged 20ft with brakes full on,so let go of the handles as i had kk's on & still got dragged another 30ft or more.result sprained ankle, now still limping. & a dented pride + a few bruises.but i suppose if you spend enough time flying them & learning their characteristics they are a good kite.but not for me, a bigger blade i can depower maybe.

Sorry to hear about your sprained ankle, I have a 4.9 blade 3 injury that has left me holed up for the last five weeks...

Got ripped outta the foot straps on my board in some really gusty conditions, came down hard and fast and my ankle just kinda folded over. There was a nasty poping sound and I tore the ligaments around my ankle and damaged the tendons. I have'nt flown for 5 weeks and it's still giving me a bit of pain and to make matters worse. I'm due to go to El Gouna kitesurfing on Friday...

Wasn't with a blade (6.6 my next purchase) but snapped my collarbone in two places with a bullet 2.5 if you can count that one! one for 2 months!!!!!

All part of lifes rich tapestry, although i would prefer it didn't hurt and didn't take so long to recover. Good luck to all those fellow plonkers, rapid recovery to all.
