schmik1599968584 Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 So does that mean that I will be able pick up a BLADE II cheap ???? schmik Quote
ExtreemDude Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Yes blade 2 gonna be chaep!!! 6.4 hear i come and 7.8 and 9.0 yess Quote
Guest Patter Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Did any shop discount the Blade 1 when the blade 2 came out?. Quote
rasga Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 it depends on whether the shop have sold all their MK 2's before the MK 3's come out if tehy have no supply of them then there is no need to have to reduce the prices, so they are probably trying to reduce stock levels of vipers and skytigers now (and not restock) but remember the blade III is coming out later on in the year than the bullet. . so you are going to have to wait a while! Agger Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 yeh quite a few discounted Blade 1, I bought 2 2.6 for the cost of 1 and I still have both, no I don't want to sell. Quote
Guest Patter Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Ok then. So you think there going to get rid of the Skytigers at last?. They should have done that long ago. About time they got rid of the stackers as well but they still sell. Quote
rasga Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 the stackers must be the best seller, and really cheap to make (not much hard construction compared to a big foil) but im sure they are goign to get rid of the vipers and skytigers make everything look nice, and decent, as those style of kites have become dated Quote
Guest the guvnor Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 vipers may go, but i personally cant see the sky tiger range going... as its the cheapest way to get into quad line foils... they bridge the gap between the symphony range and the more powerfull blades etc. not everyone wants to spend a fortune and a skytiger should not be ignored, they were one of the best kites in there day, they still have their days... my 1.7m comes out when its really really windy... Quote
rasga Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 yes well maybe, i see what you mean though if they get rid of both of them, and the bullet comes out, the bullet would be repacing flexifoils lower priced kite genre so the bullet would maybe be around thatt price? i dont know im just guessing, im sure we will findout whenever the kite is released Quote
Guest AdamC Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Look at classic cars. Objects might change shape and trends come and go but people will still want the classics. And like guv said the cheapest quad Flexi do, would be a great shame to see it go. Quote
Paul_bahn Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 looks like its aimed at kite surfers to me. Quote
wakeupandfly Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 it will be the same as storms - discounted just before the new model comes out tom Quote

Bring back the Hotshot, thats what I say (in packs of ten please). Quote
spooky Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Hi is it me but does the Bullet look like an Ozone Little Devil and the Mk3 Blade like a Razor (but with lift)? Looks like all the manufactures have finaly found the optimum shape/design. So we will now have to base our choice on Brand loyalty, construction, or go for my favorite, COLOURS:D Jon Quote
rasga Posted January 21, 2003 Report Posted January 21, 2003 Paul_bahn :looks like its aimed at kite surfers to me. um i think not, the storm II is aimed at kitesurfers, this is now meant to be aiming at the land market (though of course it can be used on water!) oh and spooky, i think i know what you mean most kites started off retangular then progressed slowly into curves though im not sure tha blade III looks like razor, as i havnt seen a "real pic" of the kite, just cgi from designers, i want to see how its set up etc, and curvature in flight. .all those characteristics Quote
