UK What happened?

I remember joining this forum some time ago when the north wales kite scene was buzzing on here.

Constant activity, ongoing conversation about the last meet and the next, where we were going and who with and what etc... Now its seemed to have disappeared.

Is there something I don't know about? Has something happened?

 

The point of this post really, is just to say, I wish those days were still with . Anybody else who thinks the same should create a new North Wales 2013/14 thread and try get things going again...

 

I might be trying to beat a pinata blindfolded on this subject but...

Its called nostalgia. Let it go. Seriously, we had the good times. We had the Wallops and the Wroughtons. Don't spose anyone now remembers Wrougton. I think a lot of guys use other forms of social intercourse and networking. I know FarceBook is responsible for a lot of kitesurf chat.

Yeah I can agree on all that, but its just not as openly social, it lacks the excitment and you can't express everything to everyone or make arrangements etc... Quite as easily as you can here when it comes to kiting n shizz.

Guess it is just one of those things.

Look, theres loads of ppl out there to fly with. All you gotta do is roll up to a beach or kite spot and rock over for a chat. Apart from that twat Keith from Lee On Solent, everybody's pretty sociable.
