hankster Posted August 23, 2012 Report Posted August 23, 2012 when pansh 1st came on the market ok they were cheap but not upto scratch & i never had a good word to say about them, now they've ironed out all the problems and after someone giving me a go on his 5m you can put them anywhere in the window within reason a tiny bit of brake & it just sits their waiting for your next move it was pretty windy that day and got a few decent airs, on one the lad who owns the kite said my feet musy of been 8 to 10ft off the ground also now they're very well made and still cheap. roscopecotrain Posted September 11, 2012 Report Posted September 11, 2012 I agree, my 5m ace has been so much fun, next purhcase is going to be the new Flux i think for the other half to use along side the Sammi. Quote
Snowbobby86 Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 I agree. My Pansh Flux's are still my go to kites when I get on the beach. They are so stable in the buggy and can fly one handed with a strop line on handles. I reccomend Quote
skidmarks Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 of course they are they are chinese and mastered the art of copying to a t so enjoy them whilst the real makers go out of business after all the money they invested to get there products up to scratch and safe for you so think before you buy id pay the extra Quote
Broady Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 I thought the flux was there own design and had spent money on making it up to scratch and safe. They aren't making direct copies like the other Chinese factories. I can see why you should avoid those. But isn't pansh now a reputable company now as they even have there kites in our kite shops? You are getting far too predictable! The Flux is their own kite was being tested for 2 years, it is a stable kite and great for beginners/intermediates .....and at least Pansh are bringing new kites to the sky, who else has anything new in the fixed bridle range? Ozone - just re-skins, Flexi - nothing since 2009, PKD - Nothing in since 2010, HQ - Nothing since the Beamer V Quote
papalazaro Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Well i hope you don't own a samsung phone skids Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2 Quote
The Geoff Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 By their own admission they evade UK import taxes. They're cheaper because they don't help pay for the nice people with the ambulances and helicopters who help us. I wouldn't even consider buying one second-hand. In addition, there's an (admittedly small) chance you'll get a letter from Revenue & Customs asking you to stump up the balance after you've bought one. Quote
papalazaro Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 It is up to the buyer to pay import tax not the seller abroad. And when customs find out that thrre has been no tax pansh pay it out of good will Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2 Quote
The Geoff Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 They do, however, have to declare what the import is in the paperwork. They declare it as a gift, when in fact it is a sale. This means the buyer is free to have their kite impounded by R&C and get no refund. Quote
Broady Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Pansh offer a full refund if the kite doesn't arrive to you, or so I remember reading. Also, what was the legend, ace etc based on if they weren't there designs? Quote
nudge1599968719 Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Also the flux is now being sold in 2 different kite shops so you could buy direct from a kite shop and help out a UK business in a trade that is suffering badly Quote

I have been importing stuff from china for a long time, mainly for RC hobby but now for kiting, never had to pay for import tax Quote
jjpython Posted September 21, 2012 Report Posted September 21, 2012 i inherited a set of pansh sprints had my first fly with them today, they are really good, solid, stable fast kites, havent buggied with them yet but love them Quote
