I'm s29feb from the other thread - thought I'd change to this as its what I use on other forums. My 2012 Razors have been sold (had my hand snapped off) but there is a local kid up here with some for sale 11/9/7 in good condition with no repairs and has one bar that is well used but another still brand new.

We didn't have the windiest of winters and when he was out teaching in Oz the wind was not great that season. If anyone is interested I can pass you his details.

Bit late on this thread but I though I'd post anyway.

About a year ago was looking to replace my Fuels and became interested in two kites in particulars, the Razors and the HiFi comps.

As I was a bit broke at that time, I was looking at either second hand or previous season kites. Then I found a great deal on a quiver of 2010 HiFis and went for them.

Awesome kites, loved them and though I'll never sell these kites, will keep 'em till they last.

Then I went to see friends in Spain and rode the Razors, an 11m and a 9m.

That was it. Came back here and put up an ad to sell my quiver of HiFis, and got me a new quiver of Razors (thanks again Tom;))

Not pimping here, I buy all my gear with my hard earned cash and will ride only what I like.

Of course it is always all down to personal preference and others might not like these kites, but for me it was a big surprise when I first tried them. More than everything I much like the way you can throw them around with respect to other kites I have had.

One thing the HiFis win over every other kite is bomb-proofness I think. While the Razors seem superbly built and fairly light at the same time, the HiFis have so much heavy duty dacron around they just won't break. Of course they are way heavier than the Razors though, which may account for the better low end I am experiencing with the latter.

Anyway just wanted to share the stoke here, thanks again to John who first recommended them to me:cool:
