m.klinge Posted July 15, 2015 Report Posted July 15, 2015 I've always been a bit nerdy so whenever I see products like Shadowbox, Woo and Xensr I'm all fired up; a chance to get some tangible data out of my passion, what's not to like? Last week I might have jumped the gun, but I decided to get myself a Woo tracker (http://woosports.com/), even though I needed to get myself a 2nd hand iPhone 4S to get it working (Fingers crossed for an Android app soon). I have had one session with it yesterday on my Speed 4 Lotus 15 meter in 10 ms (20-ish knots) - clocked 7,2 meter (during an invert) and max airtime of 5 sec according to the Woo. Now I have not been jumping super high before really, while it certanly does not send me to the top of any charts it does sound fairly high to me based on other visual reports - but we all know how hard it can be to estimate the actual hight of a jump. But untill somebody proves me wrong this is what's going to be my official PB If you want to add me just search for powerkiter.dk On a sidenote an average of 10 ms (20-ish knots) is the top end for me on the Speed 4 15 meter - anything higher is just getting ridiculous //M gum-nuts 1 Quote
.Joel Posted July 16, 2015 Report Posted July 16, 2015 Alright, now that is pretty nifty! These devices with today's accelerometers and barometers built in can be extremely accurate. Quote

I don't think it has a barometer build in though :-) But it's quite fun to be able to compare across the globe :-) //M Quote
