would not bother with any of them the plastic at the top were the depower rope slides in cracks and rips ur depower line to bits just getting mine changed by slingy now apart from that good bar and lines. still a good by thow lines are worth that alone.

i dont understand this whole thing about the new chicken loop cracking? i only use one bar and probably unhook more than 99% of riders using it, and ive never had it crack, and ive never had a depower rope wear or snap.

Its not the chicken loop its the plastic insert at the top of the bar were the depower rope runes thruw it crackes and eats the depower rope. Slingy are goinig to swap my bars for the new one with meatal both sides .

erm what year and model are the bars you are getting then? given that the compstick in the pic from Tone came out in 2010 and has been the same since an going into 2012,

 

am genuinely puzzled as to who/what you are getting swapped as none of the recent/current bars have metal top and bottom

 

For what its worth NONE of the bars i have had on demo have split at the insert and chewed the rope...
