coupe-se Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Looks a bit like a Mk1 Flexi bug ....... but i think the seat was just a webbing made out of seat belt material. More likely to be an original Peter Lynn. It doesn't look very comfortable or strong! Would have thought a mk 2 stainless Flexi Buggy would be miles better or a cheaper option would be a Peter Lynn XR. Quote

fat Old Whimp Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 That is a "Flexifoil Sport" at the back with a new front end. They were built around 99/2000. Originally had a Peter Lynn fork. Quote

How will you transport it? These factors weigh heavily on what Buggy is best for you. I went from a Peter Lynn XR in 2003 to a V-Max in 2004 to a full race prep'd Iguana in late 2004 to a Parastorm Typhoon in late 2005. All the buggy's suited my needs for the time ....... the Parastorm was the best all rounder. Quote

The pictures are of the Mk1 The sport was a different buggy. It is in the 1999 and 2000 Flexifoil catalog. Quote
grantyg1976 Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 nothing like those webbing seats to rip your trousers off! I had one of my most embarrassing moment swith one of those - shredded my trousers and didn`t realise - on the way home I fuelled my car and even went to mcdonalds - only to get home and discover 2 huge pant showing rips! Great times Quote
Easyrider Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 yeah as said it is the flexifoil sport, looks like its had an headstock change though. a bit of a pain to put together because of the lack of back axel though but not a bad little buggy for just mesing around on. I had one of my most embarrassing moment swith one of those - shredded my trousers and didn`t realise - on the way home I fuelled my car and even went to mcdonalds - only to get home and discover 2 huge pant showing rips! Great times thats quality granty! lol. my mate had a similar mishap but he knew about it, the unfortunate thing was he was going commando so had to fashion a david beckham style sarong lmao, yeah he loved it too.
