andrewjohn Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 If it was just wet sand that got stuck to it just let the sand dry then shake it off. Simples. Quote

C00KIE Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 i resently went lanboarding on a beach the got sand verywhere . If that is a problem for you then give up now!! What did you expect? Just enjoy it. Always a good reminder of the last session if you still keep finding sand in interesting places. Quote
D3. Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 Allow the kite to dry, dust off sand and remove any sand from your pulleys (if you have any). When you get home submerge bar and lines in fresh water to remove any sand and allow them to dry before finally packing away. This will keep moving parts moving and your lines fresh:) Quote
parksy Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 Unless you have a very understanding mum/wife/girlfriend, don't dry/ shake/ clean a sandy kite in the middle of the living room floor!!! ;o) Quote

Mad-Fly Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 You could try seal and glide once its applied the sand wont even stick to it and the canopy becomes all most water proof as well. Quote
