So it's been quite a few months since Ragnarok - and here in Denmark we're enjoying a (for our standard) great warm summer. but I guess that means winter is coming your way by now?

Anyway I finally had time to finish my video from the Race - sorry for the shakiness - it'll be the last time I film a race using only head cam (And also last time I'm using the crappy sony actioncam AS30).

Oh well hope you at least don't feel like you wasted 5 mins of your life after watching is :drinks:

Hey MM,

Don't be so hard on your self with the video, I really enjoyed it. Reminds me of some of the light wind sessions on the water.

Had a look at the web link at the end of your vid:

http://powerkiter.dk/kiting/ragnarok/

very interesting read, appreciate you taking the time to write up the event. 40 out of 200 kiters made it to the end. I can understand why you want to go again next year. Would love to give it a burl.

Just looked at some of the previous years videos of this event, looks like the local kiters cleaned it up, so local knowledge plays a big role as you would expect.

Thanks for posting M.

Norman

Thanks for the kind words on the video :friends:

As you can see it was very light (aside from on top of the ridgde) - the Wind actually picked up the the evening so me and one of the other guys was having fun till the sun was completely gone :dance3:

Yea I try to write a bit whenever I have something to tell, but usually in Danish as it's much easier for me :D

The previous year local kiters did clean it up, but this year the light wind and the Ozone Chrono was a game changer. Still snowboarding class was ruled by local guys all the way. And yes local knowledge does make a huge difference :clapping:

Looks cool. It would be an awesome event with some wind!.

Even without much Wind is was very cool - Red Bull really knows how to put an event together.

But yes more wind would have made it even better - last time they had nuking winds - look up a video from 2012 it was insane :-)
