andy666 Posted June 29, 2013 Report Posted June 29, 2013 Well is seems that the trend this year is for traditional closed cell manufactures to start producing LEI kites. (see CRONIX) HQ have announced that they will be releasing their first LEI kite, the Ignition, in the next couple of months. There is not much information on the ignition yet other then a hand full of photos, so here's a few of them. Quote
Jason Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 HQ have gone the simplicity route. 1 kite model and 1 canopy colour. Quote
sherwinelioreg21 Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 I like how they made it more simple, but how does it perform though? Quote
Jords Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 I love the 3D design of the HQ emblem. If they had that canopy graphic on a fixed bridle kite I'd chance a divorce just to have one Quote
andy666 Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 Why don't more manufactures make black kites. They look so good. Quote
SoutherlyBuster Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 Nice video Jason, itching to get back in the water and waves, oh nice kite too Quote
Jords Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 Why don't more manufactures make black kites. They look so good. I have a pansh flux which is black and yellow, and I reckon it looks awesome. I've had a lot of comments about it from passers by on the beach, too. Unfortunately it seems to me like so many of the really good designs are reserved for LEI world... Quote
