thisisnatty Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 (edited) http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s17/thisisnatty/ckbjpg.jpg CKB LB28 designed for riders 8 to 10 stone, will withstand a heavier rider but they may find it over bouncy Hubs are actually a set of 4 lime green twistars (used once) Set of bearings (used once), and set of stainless bearings new in packet. Set of blue Primo Alpha tyres Scrub velcro bindings Scrub 9.5mm trucks (have been sprayed yellow and lacquered, quite chipped) want a reasonable price for this as it is a one off board in excellent condition ..... and I need to fund a flight to Thailand Photobucket Album http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s17/thisisnatty/CKB/CIMG3294.jpg http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s17/thisisnatty/CKB/CIMG3282.jpg http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s17/thisisnatty/CKB/CIMG3269.jpg http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s17/thisisnatty/CKB/CIMG3289.jpg Edited January 15, 2011 by thisisnatty Quote
Dubs Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 Hey Natty, Unfortunately the market is shit and the last few ckbs have gone for far too little money. I really , honestly think you should keep it and sell it for more when the markey picks up again! The last of this series (this shape and water cut) sold for 150 quid ffs... Completely rediculously low price for a board of this calibre. Sorry to put a downer on things but I'd hate you too sell this for less than it's worth! Quote
thisisnatty Posted December 9, 2010 Author Report Posted December 9, 2010 hey, yeh I've noticed they're not making their worth. Glad it's not just me who thinks that ! Definitely wont let it go for too cheap. I'll keep hold if no-one wants it as I'm not desperate to sell really... I just think it's a shame it doesn't get ridden as much now since i've started kitesurfing and buggying..... (guilty as charged) Quote
thisisnatty Posted January 15, 2011 Author Report Posted January 15, 2011 Photos added ^^^ I go on holiday Thursday 20th January- board is available up until this date, or after I return on 2nd March. nat Quote

surfdoode2 Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 I'm vaguely interested! How long is the deck and how heavy is it? How would you say it compares to a Trampa deck? Cheers, Mark Quote
thisisnatty Posted April 16, 2011 Author Report Posted April 16, 2011 I'm vaguely interested! How long is the deck and how heavy is it? How would you say it compares to a Trampa deck? Cheers, Mark Hi Can compare to a 12ply Trampa skate as thats what I had before. Shorter, much lighter. I went from landing about 40% of simple tricks on the Trampa to 95% on the CKB instantly. Less flexy (bottom outty) but more poppy (load and bounce) Am away at the moment. have asked my sister to measure the length, will let you know as soon as I know. my email is thisisnatty at hotmail.com from which i can reply more regularly if you have any further queries. thanks nat Quote
surfdoode2 Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 Ok, sounds good. How much were you wanting for it? Quote
surfdoode2 Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Ok, sounds good. Roughly how much money would you want for it? Quote
parksy Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 The board alone is worth £200 all day long. These are one off boards and can't be bought anywhere else. Sooo light and a joy to ride. I would have bought this myself, but I'm too fat haha, though it would have looked nice hanging on the wall!! Good luck Natty ;o) Quote
surfdoode2 Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 I was hoping closer to 100 pounds with it being secondhand. But maybe if I could have a look at it first I would have a better idea as to what it's worth with these boards varying so much! It says your from north yorks, is that like Yorkshire coz I'm driving from Devon to Durham in a few days if you're at all on route? Cheers, Mark Quote

Cheers, Mark You would be lucky to get a shity beat up mbs comp for that. Couple of fine wet and dry sheets and everything on that board would look brand new Stu Quote
heres jonny Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 You won't find a sweeter ride than CKB carbon, its worth a lot more than 100 Quote
surfdoode2 Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Well I can get a brand-new trampa for 200 quid so just need a price from natty for this board and then I should be able to decide between the two fairly easy. By the way natty, I'll probs be driving through Yorkshire tomorrow so would be good if I could have a look at it then (I'm about 11stone so need to check I'm not too heavy!). Anyway let me know if you're about. Cheers, Mark Quote
heres jonny Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 But that's a trampa, this is a CKB... Ah well. Nowt wrong with trampa, but try and test ride a carbon deck before you base your decision solely on price ... Quote
surfdoode2 Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 Haha, no, that's a good point. Does anyone know where natty is or if there is a better way to get hold of her? I'm driving through Yorkshire today if there is any chance of a test ride? I could bring some money too?! Or is it Wales at the moment? Quote
thisisnatty Posted April 23, 2011 Author Report Posted April 23, 2011 So sorry. Been traveling myself today too.- Dorset to North Yorkshire. And just to be clear. I will not let this go for £100. I have discussed this with a few people who understand the value, and agree £230 would be a fair price- slightly reduced price for what it is, due to the demand for a freestyle board for lighter riders. Test ride absolutely no problem. I live *close* to the postcode DL6 3EF I am home now although slightly sporadically due to attending job interviews. My email is thisisnatty at hotmail.com (If you'd PM'ed I think I'd have been alerted to my Blackberry but never mind) Again sorry. nat Quote
surfdoode2 Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 Hi Natty, do you reckon you could give a price please because I need to get a board quite soon and a price on your board will help me decide between a trampa deck or your board. I'm in Durham at the moment so think I might be quite near you. Thanks, Mark Quote
