m.klinge Posted November 11, 2012 Report Posted November 11, 2012 Another short landboarding video from Denmark Wind was around 8-10 m/s (~16-20 knots), I was out on my 9 meter Matrixx. This time around it's my colleague filming me, he has just started out kiting a few months ago, and was learning to g upwind Sadly I didn't get my attempts on one footers on video, but I'll try to make it next time (Hopefully tomorrow) My colleague and me had a blast up until the part where he did an unintentional/uncontrolled redirect which ended up dumping him on his hip from 1,5-2 meters hight. He's now out of action for 3-4 month due to a broken pelvis (I don't know the details of the break). I actually have his crash on video, but i won't make it public before he tell's me it's ok //M Quote
Clive Posted November 11, 2012 Report Posted November 11, 2012 Some nice air by you, sad about your friend, I don't mind seeing accidents and OBE experiences ......if nothing else we can learn by it....... but I don't want to see someone lying on the ground in agony being carted off to hospital. Hope your mate gets better quickly. Quote

Hope your mate gets better quickly. Thanks :-) Yea really sad about my mate, he did drive to the hospital himself (in hindsight a very bad call), but he clearly was in pain. He's ok by now (as ok as you can be three days after the crash), mostly he's pissed about the fact that he's out of action the next 4 months or so. Luckily it's nearly winter, the days are short (sun sets before five) and in general it's getting cold so it's not the best time to kite ;-) //M Quote
