ed209 Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Hi All, I've been recommended a few kite options on here and told to buy second hand, but I'm just not sure what to get for my first kite(s). I've done 4 sessions of kitesurfing but want to get into landboarding. Are there good kite shops in the midlands? Near to Leamington/Coventry/Birmingham? Also, is there somewhere I can go to get 1/2 day lessons for landboarding? Not sure of the difference to kitesurfing. cheers. Quote

Afro1599968737 Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 thats one good option; some others include airboss and extreme kiteshop, both of which have large fields where they give lessons Quote

harrysalisbury Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Alright mate, I have just bought a new kite for land from my local shop extremekiteshop.com They are based just out side of worcester on the a38 heading southwards towards Gourcester and that area. The shop is great, friendly helpful staff with a wealth of knowledge. They also do lessons and you get free half hour practice with the kite before you buy! Also they do lessons in their kiting field which is massive, they are also very well stocked with equipment so you can try before you buy on your lesson. They are a great bunch ask for geoff if you purchasing. 01905 820566 Quote
