Sammy1599968740 Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 Llanddona will be definitely kiteable by 1. We arrived 2 hours after HW today and there was loads of beach. We'll probably head there or Conwy Morfa for a bit of a water session. Would come down there, but more wind predicted up this end! Quote

sonicseal Posted January 30, 2010 Author Report Posted January 30, 2010 Bad times: Wind never really happened today. Good times: Big snow dump tonight Quote
abba Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 Went out and collected an Indian at 6.45 just went outside to be greeted by a good inch of snow:eek: Nova could be interesting tomorrow... doubt the car park will be easy to get on and off, but if the snow shifts pretty sharpish we'll be heading to Nova for about 2ish Might give it a miss if the snow hangs around and get back to Salop NatMoore seems to be a bit bored of me now:rolleyes: Quote
g7afm Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 hi all staying at llanfairfechan for a week with the grandson hope to get some boarding & buggying done, where,s best to head for without having to travel to far from base, any snow lying anywhere if so could also chuck in snowboards. regards phil. maybe see some of you about.:D Quote
Sammy1599968740 Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Hi Phil - for boarding and buggying, at very low water penmaenmawr or llanfairfechan is possible. BUT i would definitely recommend heading to the Island. Llanddona is where its at today. See here: Llanddona, Beaumaris, Gwynedd, United Kingdom - Google Maps should take you about half hour from llanfairfechan. if you like, PM me for my number and give me a ring for directions. its very easy to find from beaumaris. flysurfer1080 Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Sunday Dinner, few beers, sip of whisky as it's cold out there & am off down the Nova. Catch PPS there Quote
cthorpey Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Aiming to get there about 2pm, be nice to catch up Dave. Just been up to the beach at rhyl, 14.5mph dead on shore. It's a really really big tide though. Quote
