Hey Mickster... Sorry I didn't stop for long... Did you get out for a little while? Was up there this morning too picking up some stuff and the water was like glass. Lovely day but much more of this and we'll need to organize a trip to Wales or Tiree...

I got a few minutes with reasonable power. Enough to run the board over a rock and score it pretty bad. :D I stayed over Sunday and had a good time but not kite surfing. I went to Searles to do a spot of fishing after I'd flown my plane for an hour. I don't know whether you ever see the water ski-ing down there. There is one boat called Plaything. The engine alone costs £150,000 and $1000 an hour to run. Every 20 hours the engine has to have a rebuild at Mercury. Its called a Mercury 1075. The number is the horse power it produces. Well, I got chatting as one does and they were telling me all about the race series. I'd googled the boat a couple of months back. It sounds like a Spitfire aeroplane. No kiddin. 44 minutes plus one lap at speeds up to 85 mph on the open sea on a monoski. The rider is only 16 yrs old. Unbelievable. Anyway I thought it was good. :D

Oh well, on the Welsh thing, I was supposed to be driving a Formula Ford next Saturday but the buggers have just cancelled it. Leicester Council for some rediculous reason have made Mallory Park cancel their driving courses or certainly reschedule stuff. But it means I'm free to play. Looking at the forcasts it looks a tad crap your way so I may do a Welsh run. Or even a South Coaster.

Mick we see and hear that boat out quite often pulling the water skiers at crazy speeds. It's a young lady not a lad she's the world waterski champion. Kim Lumley.

i don't use foot straps , i make straps up out of very strong webbing, and its strong and very light , i found the footstraps with the big buckles on can be tricky , if ya need to flick ya board off quick . several times they caught up on the bottom of the trousers, and wouldn't leave me , lol - not wat ya want in an emergancy

3.5 bullet was my first ever powerkite loved it to begin with but found it a evil c@*t in the buggy as it would go into evil looping mode all by itself and loads of people experienced this as well
