ady Posted January 22, 2012 Author Report Posted January 22, 2012 Well that was mental ! branny this morning and pumped up my 10 then before i could launch the wind picked up really quick. decided a 7m would be a good choice as this guys surfboard done 200 yrds down the beach in a blink of an eye. I was a bit worried as i wasnt sure which way to dive out of the way lol. Wind felt to me like 35mph gusting to 50mph (didn't take reading). Quote
ashley, Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 yeh good day all in all 8mt was deff lit up at times but had my first run in with the stupid dog walkers not keeping dogs on lead the little shit ran all over kite while was rolling it up all i can say dog got lucky escape as it was to windy to let the kite go and kick it off lets hope its claws dint do any damage next time i get it out Quote
Perry Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Wind felt to me like 35mph gusting to 50mph (didn't take reading). I could hardly walk against it carrying my board never mind being attached to our littlest kite lol. Hopefully you'll meet the dog walker again ;-) Quote

mick Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 My mate Bill who owns a garage and till last year kitesurfed regularly at Hunny, told me today about a guy from there who kitesurfs across to Skeggy on a regular basis. My mate says he's an old boy, drives a Vito ( by this time I thought he was talking about Ady) and flys Flysurfers ( not Ady) He said the Vito was black btw. Any truth or BS? Quote
Perry Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 Mick to kitesurf across the wash would need a safety boat for sure! So I'm opting for urban myth! Quote
