Hi

No i dont have any. I have just started in fact not flown my kite yet, just finding the ins and outs.

Check out your home insurance. Most policies cover you against accident outside of your home. I contacted my insurers & gave them an example of me hurting someone with my kite buggy & said i was covered, even pointed me to the right paragraph in my policy book. I only buy kite specific insurance cos events/festivals ask for it.

Bit of a harsh reply that!

As you're new to this forum it's understandable but if you take some time and search the forum for similar topics you'll see it's a recurring theme time after time.

It looks like some people have lost the rag with it or else you caught Batz on an off day. ;-)

That was gentle. Is the search button not available to newbies? And lets face it. He DID answer his own question.

I joined this forum for advice and I don't think it is sensible to swear at people for asking for it. Ok I admit I can be a bit daft at times for instance I asked that question after I had posted a check for £15 to BPKA for there insurance lol.

are spka organisisng any freestyle events this year?

Not at present, over the years in the past when we have run them the turnout has always been so dismal (even with cajoling peeps to attend) and not even getting 3 folk for the medals! Generally the committee have basically put it on the back burner for now. If there is a demand then there is no problem with holding freestyle events, we're happy to put the effort in if the membership show a strong wish to compete in such events.
