festa Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 it is a depower and it will work on land man give it a go before you get rid man Quote
Badger Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 it is a depower and it will work on land man give it a go before you get rid manI think that I would agree that it is not ideal for a beginner buggying or boarding on land. Won't fly so well in lighter winds either, and easy to damage needing an expensive repair compared to a foil. Best to sell and buy e.g a 10m Access XC 09. Steve. Quote

Highlander UK Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Won't fly so well in lighter winds either. really???? i was dirtsurfing in sub 10mph with last years 12m on gott bay not 2 days ago. they fly particularly well in low wind as they weigh loads less than a higher performance inflatable of the same size. Newt Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Uh im lost? Your in Dorset judging by your forum location I would agree with Highlander UK, I was in Gott bay (Tiree) on the same trip as him and his Light was working fine in low winds.... I had a 9m light last year and it was also a great kite and worked very well in low as well as high winds (I think the relatively light weight due to less struts that makes the difference)... Anyway, I regreted selling that kite so much I went out and got another Instinct after wasting my time with another kite!!! Whoever get's this kite won't be dissapointed!!! Good luck with the sale Toby Quote
