stopper ring

Stopper ring.

 

Going to fit a stopper ring to my as per this web site. http://www.kite-fantastic.co.uk/articles/mx5alan/peter-lynn-arc-setup-faq.html.

 

I wanted to know how important the sleeving around line is and what should I use. Regulaer line sleeve will not fit over the stitched sleeving of my existing lines and I don’t really what to undo this.

yup. dig around and see if you have one in the bottom of a bag

 

make sure you set it to the full span of your largest kite

is that way u use a stopper, when u use the same bar for differant kites?

yup, no point adjusting it a few metres each time you take a different kite out imo. also stops you forgetting and ending up with a kite half powered up.

Stopper Ball is better if you can get one (ask PowerKiteShop if they are in stock) the Stopper ring was the original method before the ball was available.

 

And yes the sleeving is important the line will wear and become a weak point.
