Hentex Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 report says some kites will hit the shores around 1st october, but as with most kite companys expect delays on shipments, boards i'm not sure, they normally come a tad later. You cant go wrong with this years recoil tho, i only just got dialed in to my new 133cm and its finally coming good! really impressed considering i've never riden a production twintip before. Tommy at session1.com has them for great prices right now on clearence, its worth a look for sure! Quote
gravyboat Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 Yeah I had an 09 but lost it last week. Can't make my mind up to get one why they are a bit cheaper now or wait for the 10's. Really impressed with the 09 recoil and when my fuels need changing I'd like to give the kites a demo too. Quote

Liquid Force UK Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 A bit more information from Julien Fillion about the new CPR bar..... 2010 LF CPR Control System. For 2010 Liquid Force introduces a brand new kite control system designed around a breakthrough Center Line Push Release safety system- The LF CPR. The LF CPR release allows riders an instant and effortless safety release of the kite, with either hand, from the front or back of the bar to either the 100% de-power flagline or 90% depower mainline leash options. While the primary focus on this new system is on the safety and release advancements, the entire bar has been redesigned and improved. Features and Benefits: -------------- Feature: Center Line Push Release Symmetrical red release piece works with either hand, from front or back Benefit: The LF CPR Release is designed for ultimate safety and simplicity, allowing a rider to release the kite with either hand, from the front or back of the bar, always the same, either side, and at any time! -------------- Feature: Non Mechanical 100% Molded QR Design All parts of the CPR Release are 3d molded plastic nylon Benefit: The LF CPR is unique in that it has NO MECHANICAL or METAL Parts. Each of the quick release parts are molded plastic and will not rust, seize or corrode and will always function properly in sand, salt, heat or snow. -------------- Feature: Quick Click CPR Release Reset The LF CPR Release easily resets by snapping the chicken loop on to the mainline Benefit: Designed to be just as easy and reliable to reset as to release, even from the water. The CPR resets simply by snapping the chicken loop onto the mainline and then pulling the red release piece down until it clicks. Done! ------------------- Feature: 100% De-power Flag Line The LF CPR Control System has a 100% De-power flag line leash attachment option Benefit: When hooked to the flag line and the bar or CPR are released, the kite will completely de-power with the riders leash attached to the flag line. This will leave them connected to only one front line, completely flagging and de-powering the kite. ------------------- Feature: Below the bar de-power cleat The power adjustment mainline runs through a 3d Molded cleat, molded into the CPR Chicken Loop Benefit: This Allows effortless adjustment of the mainline and an extreme amount of de-power, always within reach below the bar, molded cleanly right into the chicken loop surface. ------------------- Feature: Color Coded 3d Molded Eva Grip This grip is super easy to see. The red/white coloring defines the right/left sides of the bar Benefit: More comfortable than ever with bold color coded grip. This bar grip is very easy to see the right/left sides of the bar while flying and even when getting tumbled underwater. You always know which end of the bar to grab. ------------------- Feature: Auto Indexed Chicken Loop The indexing of the relation between the bar and the chicken loop forces the Chicken loop to fit perfectly into the bar every time keeping everything in line Benefit: This allows a stiff and constant alignment of the chicken loop when unhooking/hooking back in. The chicken loop does not flop around and is always aligned correctly with the bar. No need to look to unhook or re-hook! F = Feature B = Benefit F: Plastic Molded Chicken Loop B: Keeps loop ridged and constant shape for easy hook in and hook out. F: On the fly stopper piece B: Simple to adjust while riding, bar does not slip or push through, allows full depower/flagging when CPR is released. F:Below the bar depower cleat B: Easy no reach access to mainline depower centered on chickenloop for easy adjustment with either hand. F: Torpedo piece B: Allows excess mainline to secure to chickenloop keeping out of the way and from swinging when there are a few inches of mainline depowered. F: 100% Depower Flag Line Leash Attachement B: Easy leash option that allows 100% depower of kite upon release by flagging the kite on one center line. F: Quick Release Leash B: One more level of safety redundancy. A last resort, 'free myself from the kite completely' option to separate kite from rider F: Left and Right oh Shizzle Handles B: Either side, any time outside line oh shizzle handle for self rescue or emergency depower without releasing CPR F: Dyneema replaceable pig tails B: High quality kook proof line pigtails keep your line ends from wearing through F: High Quality color coded fly lines 230kg B: Easy to see blue/grey lines. Improved safety by being able to see lines clearly before launching as well as unmatched visibility on sand and snow. F: color coded molded eva bar grip B: Easy to see red/white color coded grip with 3D molded definition for a secure yet comfortable grip. F: Indexed chicken loop. B: Chicken Loop is indexed for perfect alignment and secure fit to the bar keeping it straight when unhooking/hooking back in F: Retractable float line winder bungies B: There when you need them to secure your wound lines on the bar, out of the way when flying. F: 1 piece molded and polished aluminum mainline bar insert. B: Allows super smooth Freeflow Sheeting and prevents wear on mainline from the bar. Quote
