Phizz Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 There is loads of music I would never listen to but I at least can appreciate the talent (e.g. some rap artists, soul/RnB, popular 80s music) But the worst music of all kind, and this may be only an irish cheap rave disco thing, is where they take an old crap slowish country song and speed it up so the singer sounds like a chipmunk, while adding an horrendously fast and horrible techno beat. Makes me want to kill myself. Makes it even worse when young fools add this music as their mobile ring tone. Apart from that, I agree with the comment above about modern pop/dance acts which have no talent, mime every performance, are designed to be looked at in some grotesque arena live "show", instead of listened to. And many of you will probably disagree, but I could not listen to scouting for girls if my life depended on it. Quote
dantayler Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 I'm with you on the scouting for girls comment.Everytime I hear them I want to sprint headfirst into a wall. Quote

mikeymustard Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 Yeah that "RnB" I wanna lick you up shoite really does get on my tits. And as for that over-buffed twat "Fiddy" Cent - GAY (points finger)! But my real pet hate is country. Apart from "Hurt" by Jonny Cash, which is odd cos I never liked NIN. And... I'm sure gaga was never a hermaphrodite - it's just a story to make her sound more interesting, and to account for why she is so ugly Quote

steve_w Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 Pretty much most soft as "shite" popular music. Its only popular coz some fucker gave his daughter a twenty pund note and said buy the worst fucking shite you can find which instantly resulted in a bunch of gay ass mouthers singing about how their love is never ending bollox seriously tho theres too much that I hate. Basically anything with 3/4/5 boys who sing about their love, anything with 3/4/5 girls singing about going faster underground, anything with an animated character making stupid noises, anything that sounds good on CD but when you see them live sounds like a cat ebing put through a blender, anything that involves pimpin' my ride and smokin' some fools, anything thats remixed a previously great tune to make it appeal to a bunch of drugged up 12 year olds coz its got a 'thumpin back beat'. Saying that my music taste it shite haha Quote
