David M Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 What can you put on your lines to make them slippery again? I think I've read somewhere you can use Armor All or Silicon spray are these right or is ther something else you can use Quote
Chook Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 "Sewers Aid" No sewing supplies here, so got it on the net. http://www.ozquilts.com.au/sewers-aid-p18584.html It does make a huge difference and dosen't attract sand or grit after it dries. Just a couple of drops on a rag and pull your lines through it and fly them dry. A bottle will last a very long time. Quote
David M Posted August 15, 2010 Author Report Posted August 15, 2010 Thanks Chook, I think it was you who reccomended it on the Rev forum Quote
matzelkite Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 From my experience- If your lines are worn and friction is increasing just buy new lines. Don't waste your time with a short term solution. Talk to the professionals ie Kevin [ Kite Shop -adelaide ]or Jason [ Briskites ] cheers Quote
