the problem with freestyle kite flying is that there is a lot of evidence that its erodes your sense of humour

The thread started out with a serious question but taken been made into a fun thread by the nature of the question asked. That is where I have seen that a lot of the fun about the thread went.

TH, I agree that there are some amazing kites there from all forms of kiting. There is no way that anyone could label any one person as the best kiter. I think that is where the topic went into more of a fun thread.

Now the question was all aspects of the sport and picked only the power kiting aspect. This is therefore not talking about stunt kiting, but I agree with you that there are some magical stunt flyers in both Aust and the world.

Jackson, to answer you question, considering that I have deliberately refrained from posting till now, I really dont think there is anyone that is the best at all aspects. Every form of kiting has their "greats" and many of the forms of kiting you have mentioned have more than one style witch have many "great" riders.

Maybe it is better to nominate who you think is best at a particular style of kiting and maybe post some you tube or vimeo videos of them doing their thing.

In kitesurfing alone there are multiple disciplines within the sport each with it's own stars.

Personally I think iQuad do some pretty amazing stuff when it comes to team revolution flying
