Graphics are very North 2010 mixed with Naish 2010 colours.

Kite shape (of the Vegas) looks very 2008-2009 Torch, especially with the Y split fifth line.

Reduction in battens is overdue. I wouldn't be surprised if they phase them out next year.

Get off the crack pipe, nothing "Naish" in their designs. :smoke: The strut placement, wingtips and profile looked nothing like a Torch. The only possible similarity is the Y split safety.

So you can say it's even more like a Torch? :D

Oh it'll still fly like a Vegas. ;)

It might just be the angle the photo was taken but the Rebel looks like it might be a bit higher aspect than previous years models.

Didn't you get the memo? Middle struts are back in for 2011. ;)

I was referring to the attachment of the canopy to the centre strut, the pics seem to show the canopy now directly attached to strut rather than the floating strut idea.

if ever there was an opposite to Ockham's razor, then it would be Ken Winner's butter knife.

I should mention i had a chance to get a close look at the 2011 Vegas and Rebel and the new 2011 boards a fortnight ago at Pallerenda, Townsville when i met Adam Quinn (North) and had a chat about the line up.

Given i don't have a lot of intricate knowledge of the North range i can only say that the Rebel is a bloody powerful kite as i was on my '09 Torch 12 in the same wind as a similar weight rider was on the Rebel 9m. The graphics on everything aren't a huge departure from the previous North range, but still look the goods.
