samie coop Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 :DHey guys I was out flying today and I was wondering which would be the best Depower kite for kite boarding. Pesonally fo me I like the 7 meter flexifoil Sabre and all of the gin range as my Uncle is in the team. If anyone has a suggestion of which kite is the best for kite boading then post it up with a picture. Quote
Lolage Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 What you flying atm? Doubt you will need anything better if your able to go 60mph+ on what your using atm? But otherwise - you cant go wrong with a frenzy. Quote
SCrowther Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 well if you wanna push yourself to 65mph then you may wanna get a yakooza Quote
Lolage Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 well if you wanna push yourself to 65mph then you may wanna get a yakooza Yeah if its more speed you want, get a race kite. Or an access... Quote
joe94 Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 wasn't that windy in cumbria today i was sat at home bored can't have been brilliant Quote
plummet Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 come on. obviously the best kite is the 10m manta II as thats what i', flying now. ps i should be able to do at least 80mph in the right conditions! and then bust into so quadruple kite loops for 80 to 100 meters of height doing a 15812 and unhooked with 68 inverted handle passes. PieGuy Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 A triple stack of 13m Peterlynn Bombas on a 30cm bar, give it a go Its possible you might find this setup a bit quick through the loop, especially if your into powered wakestyle stuff.. Id suggest having them on at least 35 - 40m lines Quote

Just wondering, i usually tie my leash round my neck, make sure its nice and tight so it doesnt come off, then attach the other end to one of the power lines. Best setup out there imo, good for bigstyleloopmobeKGB double handlepasses Quote
Dubs Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 Best setup out there imo, good for bigstyleloopmobeKGB double handlepasses sorry, but i dont think you are good enough to comment on here, i learnt that on flat land before i bought my exit toaster kitedeck 20kg kite specialist board! I have just learnt what a 'bar' is and how to flat 49 to blind, rapped then front roll back to heel side whilst sticking in a couple of cheeky can cans. keep up mate! Quote

Krazy Kiter Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 oh dear, kid stop trying to start these threads, isnt the one over in the kitesurfing side enough? or how about the one in the noob section? Going to start one in the buggy section soon? Just stop trying to pimp your kite. And we might stop ripping the **** out of you. Try flying more kites in different conditions, like a depower foil in badly gusting wind, see if that changes your mind about whats good. Quote
Siimon Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 KK, does it really matter that much? If you hate him that much, put him on your ignore list. I actually quite enjoy these threads, bring up a lot of very funny replies and at the end of the day at least it's something worth logging onto Flexi for (sorry to say that, but it has got rather dull of late. ) Quote
tracker Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 To be fair hitting 60 with a 2m Kite is quite an achievement the wind must of been proper blowing. Quote
