Sammy1599968740 Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 what do we reckoning for the weekend then guys?? Aberffraw saturday (more wind predicted than BRS) and Westshore sunday afternoon (LW around 4:30 on sunday) or BRS works well in a westerly - more beach time there than westshore. Quote
bartiebat1599968741 Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 @ Kelo, if you find a remote control that'd be even better!! Andy had a look today & said it's not as bad as it is in my head The only problem maybe if they close it too early at night. @ Sammy sounds like a plan, though saturday land, sunday a little more blowey for water would be super peachie if that's not too greedy to ask Quote
bartiebat1599968741 Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 how fars that from prestatyn.? It's about an hour but it's really lovely - do you know how to get to Newborough from Rhosneigr? It's on that road basically - hit the village then see all the cars parked up immediately after, then head towards the sea on foot following the river Quote
windjammer1599968715 Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 do you need a permit to buggy at westshore what insurance is valid i have fed, bksa. matt Quote

Plezzy Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Come on Scott. Sort your priorties out;) If we ALL did Aberfraw or BRS on Sat, we East Wales/England mob could go more local on Sun if a bit of North creeps in. Just a thought. Quote
scotty boi Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 i really rally want 2 go out both day but i have to get this dissertation done if i could stop time or something i would then do dissertation and come out both days, but im afraid i can yet Quote
Plezzy Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 Latest Sat forecasts for Aberffraw and BRS a similar, but LW is 1.30 at BRS, 2:30 at Aber. Given that you can drive on to BRS and that it's only open for a few more weekends, that's where we're heading tomorrow ...at the moment:o P. Quote

As much as I want to, my lad's into landboarding and, as you know, it's taboo at Hoy. Would have gone over today, but wind is poo. Have a good Chilli. P. Quote

I'm guessing its not really on the way for most of yous? If not, we're off on train to Rhossy. Definitely sunday tho!!! Llanddona or possibly prestatyn/nova? Quote

rprince Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 aye tomorrow should be good! looking forward to it sam! Quote
bartiebat1599968741 Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 I'm thinking aberff anyway still - BRS is loads further for us & forecast better on the island. If you get a train to rhossy could ferry you from there to aberff once van's empty? Only a few miles. Could take the car mebee as andy can't buggy anyway so it's just mine to dismantle for the car? See how it is in the morning!! Chris, Marie, Nemesis - enjoy Ireland!!! Quote
