here y'are then paul.....:

One word.

EPIC.

kiting wasnt anything special. trundling around really beach too soft and too crowded for anything memorable. But hanging out on the beach, watching the pros in gusting 40 knots on saturday was phenomenal! triple kiteloop on land anyone?!

Knackered now. no more beer or sh*t food til may 13th (last exam). hopefully some decent sessions this weekend! :D

Paul , glad you liked Borth, it's a great place with the right wind.

Hope Ian is OK.

Was going to Borth for the weekend, but when I saw the rain and the wind, I wimped out.

May take the caravan down soon.

@F/O - Keep me posted as to when you think you might hit Borth as will try and meet up.

Ian's fine - Magic sponge and a bit of pain relief gel.

@Bartie - put Scott's Frenzy to the side for me;):D

Weekend - Saturday is best and may be only day for me, but forecast not brill windwise at moment. Sunday could be a Llandona day and if it's looking like a good session I might just change my plans.

Right, it's almost the weekend, so what's everyone doing??

Scott don't be so lame - you deserve a break!!! ;)

Bigbud - I saw on another thread you mentioned Rhossy? Have you been? Those waves & rocks always scare me so interested from one newbees perspective to another? 7am Sunday at Westshore looks promising while it's quiet & before the wind dies, then Monday looks epic - water followed by land at Rhossy or Aberffraw?? Sammy/Liam - guna get wet?? :)

It was "Interesting" :D

With the wind direction I was being blown towards the rocks in front of the shop, kept walking back up to the left and starting again. Would prob be better on the other side of the rocks TBH but I was staying near my help :o Saved my board too !

Just about got my board starts sorted thou and was managing with the 2 foot waves on the way out. Even managed to creep up wind a couple of times  ! So all in all had a good session in the end :)

Might be on Anglesey at the weekend again but waiting for O/H to decide what she wants to do, will be watching this thread in case I do and I'll come down and meet you guys :D

I'm liking the idea of someone collecting my board for me, but you've not sold the rocks & waves to me!! Have you tried Newborough as a comparison? Should really brave it to compare (then jump back in the buggy in fear within 10mins of arriving!hehe Give your other half Saturday when it's rubbish - treat her to a Maccy D's n everyfin! ;)
