Cheers :D

I might try and get down, Windguru Pro is saying 13mph gusting to 17/18mph for most of the day so should be enough even for a bit of body dragging :)

Board starts are still a work in progress

Stay to the right - I think it's the right? Ahh, if the waves seem too big on the right then move to the left!! There's definitely a bit that's less wavey! :)

@ Liam, that was last week!! You missed all the fun & excitement of 3 days driving to skool with a full quiver of kites, wetkit & a board squashed nicely in the back of a teeny C2, watching the 22mph wind on XC all day, only to drive straight home every night when it dropped to 8mph!! We need a wakeboard boat between us!!

Doh oh well this week then give us a message! Dont get me started on boats too! :(

Hi there guys :)

Will be going to North Wales for a few days next week, staying in Prestatyn. Will of course be taking the kites, and hopefully I'll see some of you on the beach...

Here's me hoping my SPKA insurance will suffice. Are there any restrictions I need to watch out for? I don't want to arrive there and land the rest of you in the sh!t by disregarding any rules that may be in place...

Video from a trip to West Shore in early April

Not the best edit I've ever done, bit rushed, but captures the day.

Watch out for the 'Laurel and Hardy' kite launch:D

Before launching the kite, lay your lines out in front of you and check their attachment.

Step back but make sure you do not step inside the lines as this can lead to you dancing like a wally. ;) :D

Think I may be hitting mid Wales this weekend.

Nice vid again Mr Plezzy :)

May bank hol 22/23/24 Dave/Sammy have organised an ever growing camping trip - I need to call up the campsite to add on my mates who have a camper rather than a tent. Before I ring - anymore for anymore?? The plan is stay in (the cheapest) Rhosneigr & go daily where the wind blows, but as it's possibly a busy weekend just need to add extra numbers on to those folk who've already booked - let me know & I'll add you aswel :)

Ps After skool sesh at Westshore tomorrow??? :D

Brilliant weekend at Atmosphere. Wind was either completely off or completely on & soft sand made for some interesting face plants & walks of shame, but that just added to the amusement factor! :)

Thanks to the students for putting up with us old gits; looking forward to 3 weeks of no alcohol before pickling ourselves again end of May bank hol weekend :)

Forecast looks good for a wet after skool sesh Thursday & a dry island visit next weekend? .... & then they instantly update it ;)

@ Bartiebat - Glad you had a good time. Can't wait for all the follow up posts form the Bangor crew:rolleyes:;):D

Tried Borth on Sat. Bit of a trek and we were only travelling from Bala. Firm, flat beach. Ideal if it had been onshore:rolleyes: 10 mins in Ian took a tumble. Thought he was milking it as conditions were a bit gusty (challenging), until he rolled his up his kecks (showing my age there:o). Huge swelling:eek: ...on his knee. Could hardly walk

so 3 hours driving for 10 mins flying.

..but will definitely try the beach again.

I'll now sit back and wait for the Atmos invasion:D

Not jealous at all.
